We are pleased to welcome Green Carib as the newest member of Ocean Plastic Forum.
Green Carib is developing circular economy infrastructure in Jamaica to recover and process plastic waste into recycled plastic (rPlastic) flakes and pellets produced to meet European market standards. Working in partnership with Jamaica’s hospitality industry, the organization is building a reliable collection and processing system that connects locally recovered material with international recycling and manufacturing value chains.
Their model is designed to create greater value from materials recovered in Jamaica, while providing hospitality partners with measurable waste diversion and supporting the development of a more resilient and traceable circular economy.
This ambition aligns closely with our work at Ocean Plastic Forum, where we connect actors across sectors and build value chains for recovered plastic. We are therefore very happy to have Green Carib as part of our growing network and look forward to sharing knowledge, building new connections and exploring opportunities for collaboration across circular plastic value chains.
