The Danish Engineer’s Association (MMF) is the professional association for marine engineers in Denmark, representing members across a wide range of industries. The association works with technology, energy, operations, production, and the treen transition, supporting the development of technical expertise and sustainable solutions.

Through networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with businesses, educational institutions and organizations, the association promotes innovation, professional development, and technical excellence. It also has a strong focus on advancing the green transition and the development of technical solutions within areas such as energy, the maritime sector, industry and infrastructure.

Ocean Plastic Forum was originally establised as an initiative under the Danish Engineer’s Association (MMF) in 2017, with the ambition of bringing together stakeholders from across the value chain to develop collaborative solutions to the challenges of plastic pollution in the marine environment.
